We find ourselves echoing Moses’ prayer: “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom” (Ps 90:12). We have four more Wednesday night prayer meetings and four more Lord’s Days with our beloved church here in Antofagasta! There are many things to do, and we don’t want to miss out on anything because we’re “looking past” them to our next steps.
This past month Bekah celebrated a birthday and Mark took a trip to Alto Hospicio for a pastors’ meeting. We have been cared for and loved by our church family here, and have enjoyed many opportunities to share with them in their lives. The church is planning a farewell lunch for us, and individual families have been inviting us over. Their kindness is overwhelming. We rejoice in remembering how we have seen God work in their lives over the past seven and a half years.
Lord willing, we will leave Antofagasta on November 10 to begin our journey north. We continue to work through the millions of little details for the upcoming move. We trust God to provide for us and we thank him for the pointed reminders to hold our things with a loose hand. We thank God for your partnership in the gospel and we appreciate your continued prayers.
